Holocaust Survivor Golda Bushkanietz Reunites with her Rescuer Irena Walulewicz

On November 23, 2007 Irena Walulewicz of Olsztyn, Poland was reunited with Golda Bushkanietz of Tel Aviv, Israel, the Jewish woman Irena saved during the Holocaust. They have not seen each other for over sixty years. You can read the rescue story here.

On Tuesday, November 27, 2007 the JFR held its annual New York Dinner at the Waldorf=Astoria. This year, the JFR will present Harvey M. Krueger, Vice Chairman Emeritus of Lehman Brothers, with the Recognition of Goodness Award.
